Quit Method:
Anger
A person I worked with seemed to always be out on the shop floor wandering around so
that he could smoke while I was in the office doing both my work and a lot of his. Any
time I'd mention it he'd come back with my smoking. I used that ANGER to help me
quit. I took some heavy tape and wrapped it around my cigarette pack so that I would have
to work to get to them and as a reminder to myself that I was quitting.
I carried that pack with me for 2 months. This way I wasn't out begging a smoke from
anyone as I had my own with me. When I thought I really needed a smoke I asked myself
"how bad is this urge, am I going to live past this one? YES I will" "am I
ready to just give up and re-open this pack and that habit? NO". "Do I want to
let him tell me again that I'm always smoking too? NO"
Anger can be a strong motivation.
It worked for me I hope it might help you.
